Here's a 1950s vintage snow sled that's model 340 made by the AutoWheel Coaster company of North Tonawanda, New York. This sled is made from Northern white ash wood. This sled was painted red. It measures 41 inches in length.

Here's a vintage Monoplane snow sled that measures 46 inches in length. The wood steering bar has 2 pre-drilled holes for bolts. A bent nail in one of those holes currently holds the steering bar in place. Before use on snowy slopes, 2 nuts and bolts should replace the bent nail. Monoplane sleds were made by the American Acme Co of Emigsville Pennsylvania. This company made sleds from 1917-1960 under several different names. This is model 345. To make the company and model information legible, I had to tweak the contrast and colors of that photograph. The other photographs represent the color of this sled more accurately.

Here's a vintage Flexible Flyer Airline Eagle sled, model 151-B. This rare sled was made for a limited time starting in 1935. It combines the slide slat and side deck boards into one peice. The sliding cross piece that holds the deck boards together is held with rivets. The steering is all metal. This sled came from an estate and is being sold as-found. Overall it's in good condition, but you'll notice a few vintage repairs near the steering handle. This sled measures approximately 51 x 23 x 7 inches.
