Petty's Vette Shop is the Largest Floating Corvette Shop in the World!
The shop is housed on a barge, anchored in the picturesque Rhine river at Mainz-Kastel in Germany.
Owner Petra Gersch and her husband Rolf are experts
on Corvettes and Corvette parts of all model years. They have restored many Corvettes and
know the correct factory parts for each model year. Petra und Rolf visit the United States
each year where they attend NCRS shows to learn more about original Corvettes. Rolf is a
certified NCRS judge.
At Petty's Vette Shop, Petra helps Corvetters find the parts, accessories, and reference books they need. She keeps many parts on-hand in inventory and can import any items she does not have. When she travels to Corvette shows in the United States, Petra takes a list of parts her customers want and tries to find and buy them. Petra also helps Corvetters buy and sell their Vettes. She knows which Corvettes are for sale in Germany and can locate and import Corvettes from the United States.
Petra und Rolf are
active members of several German Corvette Clubs. Throughout the year, they help these
clubs organize Corvette shows, lectures, road ralleys, and "Special Collection"
displays. For any weekend, Petra and Rolf can tell you if there is a Corvette show and
where to find it.
