Dan Gale passed away the evening of October 4th, 2000 from complications after a massive stroke. The Corvette community lost one of its most devoted members.
Dan was the first Executive Director and a Founding Member of the National Corvette Museum. He was a close friend of Zora and Elfi Duntov. He was active in both local and national Corvette clubs and organizations. He gave more of himself to the Corvette community than just about any hobbyist I've ever known. Thanks to Dan's vision, determination, and grit, the Corvette community can celebrate its heritage at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.
